If you or your business are located in LA, you should consider sending a Los Angeles themed card to celebrate the city you live in. If you're crafting with a toddler, this adorable elf card is a great option. Use the shape of their handprint to make the face, then cut out a hat and neck trim on colored card stock.

This large sentiment works beautifully with the big bold image on this designer paper piece. The background is dry embossed with the Snowflake Sky 3-D Embossing Folder and I’ve added a few Iridescent Pearls for a touch of shine. A mistletoe, Christmas tree or Christmas sweater make the perfect focal point on these adorable holiday cards. Cut your favorite designs from felt, and add a bit of string or felt balls for decoration. Your strips will be 3″ x 6″ which is precisely the width you’ll need to die-cut the focal piece with the Countryside Corners die. Once you’ve cut your strips you can choose where you want to die-cut the piece.
I’ve included photos of 5 of the 11 designs in this blog post.
For the card below, I chose to die-cut it all the way at the top. For the panel on the right, I die-cut it justified near the bottom so I would capture the ground, and make the evergreen tree a central image. I showed the die-cutting of this piece in my Facebook Live video at the end of this post. The sentiment here is heat embossed in white on Crumb Cake cardstock. If you wanted to keep it simpler, you could just stamp the sentiment in Cajun Craze ink on white. Crumb Cake ink on white cardstock would be another option I’d likely try if I didn’t want to heat emboss. Of all the California themed Christmas cards available on Cards for Causes, they are all beautifully designed and styled. You can find cards with illustrated palm trees or a drawn skyline. Others feature photos the amazing Los Angeles skyline or other LA landmarks, so you are sure to find something that fits you.
You'll find hundreds of boxed Christmas cards, for a budget-friendly way to share Season's Greetings, Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays wishes with everyone on your list. Pop-up Christmas cards and quilled cards, full of elaborate and adorable winter scenes, double as a displayable gift and are guaranteed to impress. Here I’ve used Lost Lagoon and Pool Party cardstock with Pebbled Path ink for the sentiment. You’ll find that these colors are all included in the designer paper.
I’ve used another one of these same dies to die-cut the sentiment piece. Using embroidery floss, cardstock and a Christmas tree pattern, create unique holiday cards for all of your loved ones. Stick with a neutral color palette or get creative with bright hues. Just choose a photo Christmas card template you like, drag your photo in and you’re done!
